Chef A L'ecole In School French Field Trip

Chef a L'Ecole will ignite a love for learning the French language while supporting curriculum goals. Students will expand on their current French vocabulary while preparing a French pastry recipe and listening to a French cultural story. They will also be introduced to French Canadian music, enjoy playing spoons and delight in eating their own creations. Students will immerse themselves in this interactive hands-on French cooking experience, utilizing a variety of materials and procedural language to complete this food preparation challenge!

Royal Botanical Gardens Field Trip, Grades K-1

Date: Tuesday March 31, 2020
Departure: Depart GAA at 9:15am, Return to school at 11:45am (students will eat snacks prior to departure)
Requirements: Students wear Dress Uniform
Transportation: School Bus
Parent Volunteers: Optional; contact your child's teacher

Nature Guardians: Anyone can take action to save wild animals! Through stories, activities centres and a tour of the Wild Life Rescue Exhibit, students will learn all about the threats that local species face - and what they can do to help! Come prepared for a fun and interactive indoor experience with connections to Science & Technology, Social Studies & Language Arts.
